Handling Foals or Yearlings

Working with foals and yearlings for the first time can be a very dangerous and problematic, if you are not experienced enough to do so. The first impressions you make, and the first responses you develop, in your foal or yearling, become pivotal to their long-term learning and development. We have spent years working with foals and young horses giving us the experience, feel and timing to help you with your foal or yearling.

What are people saying about Handling foals & yearlings?

Here are some testimonials from our clients
  • ‘I have had the wonderful experience of starting a young horse’s training from 9 months old with Ben, using Natural Horsemanship techniques, for all the education of my beautiful Partbred Andalusian filly. Ben has guided all her handling, float education, hoof management and breaking-in, and now he is teaching me to re-learn how to ride her in a sensitive and mutually understanding way. After almost 50 years of horsemanship and riding how amazing it is to discover there is still so much to learn!
